To read

Some students have asked for recommendations for me to read a little more, to leave the daily-newspaper reading, academic and technical texts to which we are accustomed. No easy task, since each one must find between their own tastes, inclinations to reading that are most appropriate and entertaining or interesting.

As a first step, I recommend reading to identify what type of search: stories, novels, poetry, essays, journalism ...

Then, within each case, see the specific genre. For example, the novel might be testimonial, autobiographical, historical, romantic, police, etc.

To find what to read, you should go read. There is no other. Internet is a useful tool to go looking for the road. Visiting the bookstores, stalk through the pages of the books that catch your eye, is another resource.
